Summary
HiveBits is trading below NAV, has yet to demonstrate meaningful commercial traction, and has not established a credible path to revenue before its remaining funds are exhausted. With approximately $92,000 in the treasury, continued spending reduces the assets backing each token without sufficient evidence that it will create greater value for holders.
The project’s stated timeline puts the first harvest in June 2027. That leaves a substantial period of spending before the business can begin demonstrating sales. A successful harvest would itself be only one milestone: production, distribution, customer demand, and margins would still need to translate into meaningful cash flow for the treasury.
The current funding arrangement also lacks a clear link between team incentives and measurable results for token holders. There is no performance package tying the team’s upside to agreed milestones such as revenue, profitability, or token performance. This does not establish a lack of commitment from the team, but it leaves holders funding continued operations without a sufficiently clear framework for accountability and alignment.
The question is whether continued spending is justified by the evidence available today. With limited capital, an extended timeline to potential revenue, and uncertain commercial outcomes, preserving the treasury is the stronger course until the team can present a credible, adequately funded plan.
This proposal therefore sets HiveBits’ monthly spending limit to 1 USDC. It preserves the remaining treasury while holders assess the project’s prospects and the terms under which further funding would be justified. Spending can be authorized again through a subsequent proposal supported by a detailed budget, measurable milestones, a credible path to revenue, and appropriate performance incentives.
